Experience the northern lights and enjoy the pristine Lappish wilderness with a professional local guide! The northern lights tour in Ranua is a perfect experience to make ever-lasting memories. The tour is perfectly suitable for couples, families, individual travelers, and small groups.
Our northern lights base is located in the midst of a forest with an excellent view exposing the northern skies. While enjoying the northern lights, we sit by a fire and enjoy our time with a warm drink and grill traditional Finnish sausages. Our professional guide Ilpo, knows Ranua's regions and nature very well and makes sure you will enjoy the trip to the utmost.
Please note that the northern lights are a natural phenomenon, and 100% visibility is not always guaranteed. However, this trip is always a wonderful experience, enjoying the mystical nature of northern Finland. Proper Lappish exotica! The trip is available for booking from November to mid-April.

the Maximum number of participants per trip is 8 people.
Tours organized by Lapland Adventures & Hunting depart from the Arctic Guesthouse & Igloos (address: Pappilantie 1, 97700 Ranua). Please arrive at the departure area approximately 15 minutes before the starting time.
Guest pickup can be arranged from the Arctic Fox & Igloos reception or Ranua Resort's Safaritalo. Please let us know well in advance if pickup is needed.
Please let us know ahead of time, if you are traveling with an assistant, so we can accommodate you accordingly.
Please take note of the weather conditions, especially when joining with children. Children must have particularly warm clothing. Warm winter clothing is available for rent for 20 € per person, we will help with all the arrangements.
As a general rule, the minimum number of participants on our tours is 2-3 people. All our tours are also available for a single person by special order. You can always call and ask for availability and the price.
